Woo!! We did it!! Michael and I finally went on our honeymoon earlier this month.
When we got married, Michael was still in school. We didn’t have the time to take the traditional honeymoon right after our wedding. We also were broke. But now Michael is a teacher! I also have been picking up more photography work and have a sweet gig bartending at the new neighborhood barbecue place down the street from me. We actually found this vacation while browsing Groupon. It was our first time being outside of the country, and actually our first time being outside of New York as a couple.
I tell all of my friends the same thing. It was amazing. The jungle is the shit. We had so much fun exploring the rainforest, Volcan Arenal, La Fortuna, and zip lining for the first half of the vacation. The second half was spent in Guanacaste on the Papagayo Gulf where we enjoyed all inclusive amazingness and relaxed by the beach. I finished a Song of Ice and Fire while there and Michael took his new camera and micro lens out to the rocks and explored the beach.
By the way, we love our new Sony cameras. All of the following photos were taken with my Sony a7 and FE 35mm f/2.8 Zeiss lens. LOVE. Enjoy!
